That's pretty good. I thought that was my bow for a minute...................Pretty close to the same set-up.

What model is that? I can't tell.

    I have a Heli-m and a Drenalin as my back-up bow.

I've shot Mathews newer bows the past few years but none of them are enough of an improvement over my Heli-m to buy one. I was tempted by the Halon, but it just wasn't enough of an upgrade.

It is a Drenalin. I'm the same way Johnny, I've shot several over the years but just can't justify making the change. I haven't shot one the last couple years, mostly because I have been spending my expendable cash elsewhere and don't want to temp myself. The Halon got my attention, I'm afraid to shoot it.

I shot the Halon for quite a while. I wasn't very fond of the extra "hump" in the draw cycle just before it dropped into the valley. Maybe it was just me. I'm sure I could have gotten used to it over time. Like I said, it just wasn't a big enough improvement over what I'm shooting now. Plus, the Halon weighs a LOT more than the Heli-m, and I'm one of those folks who love a lighter bow.

I understand right where you guys are coming from. I still shoot the Switchback XT. I've looked at newer bows, even had one shop tell me that there hadn't been enough of an improvement to spend $1000 on a new bow.

The old Fred Bear SQ32 is from 2005. Great bow. I just put new strings on her every 2-3 years. My friends call her Vintage. I can out shoot more of my Mathews and hoyt friends with this baby.

There is a story behind that... The first bow I ever owned was a used PSE that my buddy who happens to be a die hard Bears fan sold me. It came with a cereal box Bears sticker on the riser. A few months later I shot a great buck with it and I was hooked on bow hunting. The a few years later we both bought new bows and he bought 2 of those insignias, one for his and one for mine. Who was I to argue? Since then I've had 2 guys that I know have coached there so it has just kind of stuck around.

I'm actually agnostic when it comes to pro football. I've had many friends and some family play and coach all over the league so it is hard to have one team. College on the other hand...

I REALLY wanted to say something about that, but when I saw it he had just made a donation to my St. Jude Marathon fundraiser so I didn't want to risk pushing a button......

We've had enough rain the last couple of days that I noticed the animals walking 2 x 2 down the drive this morning.
We were going to plant the fall plot at the in-laws tomorrow. Thinkin' that won't happen. May finish trimming up a stand.

hey boys, been putting in a lot of hours at work/meetings, school and with the wifey and daughter. Miss Lila (7 month old daughter) just decided to start crawling last Friday. The wife and I are loving every minute of it AND we can't wait until she starts walking. We're both outdoors people (she kinda has to be to put up with me haha) and the way Lila's eyes light up when she goes outside, she'll be an outdoor gal too!!! Just thinking of her being able to walk around the farm with me to check cameras, food plots, move stands and fish puts the biggest smile on my face.

I shoot the No Cam HTR 70# and 30DL. I love this bow, probably the only thing i'll ever change it with will be the Elite 35 or if Mathews will make a Wake with a 6.5"+ brace height.

The move to the Big Ten was a good one, maybe not for sports but for the university it was the right move. We had been down long enough in football that most people are used to losing now. Apathy had set in already and has only gotten worse since we joined. No idea what is going to happen the next couple years, there are people on the inside that feel like they are close to be competitive again. I'm yet to see anything that tells me that is true, time will tell.

Andrew, I may be the biggest Ohio State fan in Nebraska right now so I'm great with continued success there for the next 4 years. After that they can go back to being hated almost as much as *ichgan.
