I run a Trophy Ridge Lite-1 quiver and last night I broke the stupid slide lock off AGAIN! Did the same darn thing last year, right when hunting should be getting good! I called them last year and they sent me a replacement part right away (great customer service). I have nothing against the quiver other than if you bump the darn thing or arrows the junk slide lock breaks off. I have been thinking about just replacing the quiver and have narrowed it down to 2 I may give a try, the Apex Game Changer or the Apex Reactor. Any thoughts on either of these? Anyone ever have one break off, due to a small tap wile hoisting it to the stand? I really need something that wont let me down while hunting. Any other quivers in the same 40-65 dollar price range I should take a look at?

Tight Spot, CBE, treelimb, elite and Hoyt all make solid quivers...

Get rid of that POS!
I'm using the Bohning Chameleon. It's inexpensive and has better arrow retention. I got tired of losing half of my arrows when walking through thick stuff.
It also locks in tight with no slide lock thingy to break off

I should add that I do not hunt with my quiver on.. so detachable is a must and I prefer to have a loop or something to hang it from when I get in the tree.. Thats what was making me lean towards the Apex quivers I mentioned. Just wondered if anyone uses one that has anything to say about it.

I'm out. I hunt with my quiver on my bow.

I usually feel like you get what you pay for, but I have been using the same Truglo $20 quiver for the last 15 years with no issues at all.

Thats the thing about my quiver.. its not dirt cheap and if they would have made a better lock I have no issues with it. I just ordered a Apex Game Changer... dont know how good it will be but at least the lock doesnt look like it will break (I hope). I think Trophy Ridge will send me another slide lock but I dont have time to be messing with that, I got a huge buck to kill!

I've had a Tight Spot for 5 years. Never an issue with it. Good luck with the Apex. Let us know how it works for you.
