Which broadheads have you used and tried in past, what was your exp. with them and what cool stories do you have.
Grim reapers 100gr. Cool story is that it has dropped every deer in eye sight . Shot out of a 47# bow and a 70# Heli-m
I havent really killed anything yet with my bow, but did some broadhead test with a cow bone and a 100 grain helix. Helix passed through still remaining sharpen. It broke the bone.
Bear Super Razorhead, Muzzy, Wac'em, G5 Montec's. Have taken animals with all 4, the Wac'ems and Montec's are what I use now and fly exceptionally well. I use these two because they are fairly obtainable, most every archery shop and outdoors store carries one or both of these.
I have used Thunderheads and they work well. I used the 4 blade Muzzy 3-blade broadhead years ago. I have used the Killzones, the original 2 Blade Rage, Rage Extreme, Rage Chisel Tip Extreme and Rage Hypodermics. Out of all of them I like the Rage Hypodermic the best! They work really well for me.
I've used muzzy 3 blades and never got to try them on any animals, switched to 2 blade rage and they worked well, but this past season I've used the cyclone heads from flying arrow archery and they were awesome killed 4 whitetail this year and all went down with in 40-60 yards then dirt nap. The blood trails were crazy it really was like some one was dumping blood out of buckets on the ground and corn stalks. Shooting a diamond carbon cure at 65#
