Im using the 100gr Rage Hypodermics and have had zero issue with penetration, but im shooting 70lbs and a 30" draw with an arrow (443gr) built specifically for big cut mechanicals. Had 5 pass thrus on deer with them this year, and just the other night shot a 300lb hog with the Hypos and penetrated both sides of the rib cage.

Whichever you pick, take some time to look into getting the best FOC possible with a heavier arrow and you should have no issue cuttin thru lungs like butter! good luck!

Keep it simple, go with a Muzzy 3 blade. It'll never let you down.

Yup, keep it simple. Muzzy is a good head... I've been running NAP Thunderheads forever now and haven't found any reason to change.

If penetration is what you're after then a fixed blade broadhead is your best bet. Any offering from NAP, Muzzy or Slick Trick along with a few others will more than get the job done.

I myself am shooting Thunderhead Razors and have had zero problems with them. Like all NAP heads they're scary sharp and fly awesome. :tu:

QAD Exodus. Thickest blades on the market and deadly accurate. I shot Rage for years, and I've made the switch and don't think I'll be switching for a long time

Slick Tricks for me. I couldn't get Muzzys to broadhead tune with my setup but I still think they are great head.

As my profile name eludes, I shoot a fixed head. I used to shoot Muzzy heads until I found Slick Tricks. In my mind, they're an improved Muzzy. Solid Steel. Strong and very, very sharp.

Fixed heads are the way to go in my opinion. Simple and effective.

QAD exodus. Best broadhead on the market IMO. Try em out. They have very thick durable blades, more accurate than a field point and sharper than a slick trick. I will never shoot anything different. rage are junk imo.

I agree with this, both are awesome broadheads. I too shot muzzy for a long time, after trying out the slick trick magnums I've bee. Stuck with them. Muzzy and slick trick are my favourite heads personally. I think third favourite would be the g5 strikers or montecs. Lots of good BHs to choose from.

I've got the same set up and Muzzys are fool proof and Slick tricks are the same but thicker blades.

I started using the full blade QAD Exodus last season and highly recommend them. They fly great, they are very sharp and very tough.

Slick Trick Magnums 100 grain. Strong ,sharp, fly well out of a tuned bow and leave a great blood trail. I've shot plenty of mechanicals over the years and you'll never beat the penetration of a sharp fixed blade. G5 Strikers, Muzzy Trocars and DirtNap Gear DRT single or double bevel are also great heads.

Let me put it to you this way. NAP Thunderheads have been around for the better part of 20+ years. Not many other broadheads can say that. There is a reason for this and to put it quite simply, THEY WORK!! The Thunderhead Razors are absolutely phenomenal and I can assure you that you won't regret using them.
