Something doesn't sound right... Carbon arrows usually state a gpi number like gpi 9.4 or something.

IBO for the ignite is 300 FPS so 221 FPS at 26" and 65# is close. With that known I would add a little more weight to the arrow around 25 grains or so. You could do this by using a 125 grain broad head. The QAD exodus, Slick trick or maybe the NAP Hellrazor Thunderhead Edge would work fine. there is a laundry list of quality broad heads that fit just about anyone's budget.

Actually I do have a question. Why do you want to switch? Is there someting you think the wiseguy can do for you your current release does not?

Perfect. If you already used it and liked it I would say go for it. Finding what feels right to you is most important. I personally shoot Scott release but the reason I do is that I like the way they feel and I can pick them up any just about any shop local to me. Spott Hogg not so much but then again I always have two just in case. I have made that trip back to the jeep on to many times :tu:

Still looking for some info on the arrows. Unless they come pre-cut 300 grains stamped on the arrows seems a little off. But it could definitely happen.

I would look at fixed blade broad heads. I use the g5 strikers. I shot a buck at 40 yrds and had a clean pass through. I have also noticed in the almost any video where you see someone shoot a mechanical broad head, they don't have a pass through.

The only arrows I could find that were similar to what he described was the PSE radial X weave arrows. They would come with the spine on them saying just "300" on the shaft, the 300 is 8.6 gpi

I killed 4 deer with G5 last season. They are brutal. Great blood trail, definitely try them.
