The owner of the property i hunt on told me about the grim reapers, I checked em out and they have terrible reviews... Says they break and get jammed really easily. Not too sure though

I have not personally shot a deer with the grim reaper's but i have really looked at them a lot. they look like fail proof broadheads and they are easy to set unlike the rage. the rage u have to mess with the o rings and all that junk. not saying rages dont get the job done because i also have package of rage but they are just a pain to set the blades

Frank and I have been shooting two blade BLOODRUNNERS for the last two seasons and have had great luck with them. Huge holes and great blood trails when we have needed to follow them. Most of them have fell over with in sight.

i also read about the NAP F.O.C which stands for Freakin outrageous cut. and it is a 2 blade mechanical broadhead with a 3 inch cutting diameter. It has a little bit more weight to it than a normal broadhead. i also think its for a crossbow but i might give it a try for my bow

My personnal choice is the Montec G5 CS........switched to them this year and already put 2 does and a 10 pt. in the freezer. Its a topic of many opinions, the bottom line is if you put your arrow in the right spot every time then it dosent matter what you shoot.

not quite sure. i believe i heard somewhere that the 3 blades penetrate deeper. and i would rather have a triangle cut rather than a flat cut if you see what a mean

I agree but at the same time, I'd take a broadhead with a large cut and a low chance of failure or flight error over a broadhead with a small cut and a large chance of error any day!

For a fixed blade fool proof, the magnus buzzcut 4 blades. And i have seen many bloodtrails and these are not Sh**ing prob the easiest bloodtrail i have yet to follow. Of course it could just be shot placement though.

At Gander Mountain in New York, there were signs posted saying Rage 3 blade were illegal in New York, and your probably right, because the penetration was pretty aweful, but then again it may just be the angle i shot him from ==> and the crimson talon just looks awesome, its got a curve blade design that makes a spiral cutting wound, i like fancy broadheads like that (:

I haven't shot a deer with my Montecs yet but i have hit both squirrel and groundhog. Massive amounts of blood for every animal i have hit. Decent entry and exit holes, granted mine aren't as sharp as they should have been as it was the heads i used on my target target that i used.

I just ordered the NAP Thunderheads. I like the fact that they are fixed but have replaceable blades that will keep them sharp with little to know effort, just a little extra cost.
