A properly spined arrow with a very sharp broadhead shot from a well tuned bow along with proper shot placement will put meat on the table and antlers on the wall. That being said I prefer Slick Trick Magnums and Wasp Boss SSts.

Here is a list of broadheads I have used over past 3 years. I love trying new ones.

Rage 2 Blade, Trophy Ridge Undertaker, G5 Tekkan, and Rocky Mountain Gators for the mechanicals. No major complaint with any of them but my pick would be the Rage.

Crimson Talons, G5 Strikers, and Slick Trick Grizz Tricks. Did not care for the C T because of tuning issues but the others are great. My overall favorite broadhead would have to be the Grizz Trick. The two whitetails I shot with them last year did not go further than 30 yards and the blood trails were unbelievable!! I shot a small buck just to see what they would do and man oh man did they deliver. Best blood trail out of all the heads I shot. Check out the pic I attached of the buck.

i just used 100grain muzzyy's fixed blade for my first year bowhunting(im 15 yrs old now)...i had a deer come in at 20-25 yds broadside and hit it rite in the vitals..double lung and knicked part of the heart..he only went 50 yds and i watched him die within 5 to 10 min of the shot...they fly the same as my field points so its easier for me..probly just cuz im younger

My vote goes for the Slick Trick Mag 100's Some call them "micro" broadheads, but in reality the total cuting edges of the four blades more than equal two long thin blades. They are not really micro in cutting diamiter only shorter so they work better with faster shooting bows.

I bought some Rages, but sold them to a friend. They kept coming open in the quiver and they just seemed weak to me. I like the steel tip of the trick, they are tough. I've seen plenty of photo's of the razor tip on the Rage curling when it hits something hard. That won't happen with the slick trick. The first buck I shot last year, I shot a bit off and nailed the shoulder bone below the scapula. The head shattered the bone and the blades cut everything else. The only thing holding that leg on was the hide! Then the slick trick continued through the boiler room and out the other side. The buck went no more than 40 yards. This was with my bow turned down to 60lbs too. No doubt the Rages work, but they just wern't for me. Also if your not shooting a fast bow and hit some bone, you "may" not get a pass through. Just look at Rage's own video, most of the shots you see the animal is running away with the arrow sticking out the side. Granted they bled like someone through an Axe through them; ok sorry for that, couldn't resist.

I also bought some NAP Hellrazors and really looked forward to using them just because I like the COC design, but sent them back to Cabelas. They just had too much runout and wouldn't spin true. When they wobbled, I put a slick Trick head on the same arrow, and had a perfect spin.

Go to Youtube and look up the rusty barrel test. They tested a lot of broadheads and take a look at the slick trick after the test. I know we don't hunt rusy barrels, but it gives you a good idea of the general strength of the particular broadhead.

As long as you do your part most any head will work and brown is down!

I'm still going with the 125 grain Muzzy 3 blade heads. Haven't had one let me down yet.

Of course... shot placement can't be emphasized enough.

That will be difficult as the normal ST's are 4 blades.... They are great!

Do you find the regular Strikers fly better than the striker magnums?
I bought the magnums and they are not flying all that straight for me.

Have you paper tuned your bow? In my experiences the striker is a great flying head

Yeah I did papertune it. I was out at the range shooting three different broadheads and the most accurate was the NAP Bloonrunner, next was an old model Fred Bear BH, and then the Striker Magnum. I kept hitting the same spot low and left of dead center.
