OK well since the season is almost over I'm looking at getting new broadheads to tune and shoot for next season that being said I've shot Nap shockwaves , Nap killzones , G5 t3s , and Muzzy 3 blade orig and mx3s. Here's my problems with these every time I shoot a deer or any animal with the muzzys the blades either bend bad or crack off so stopped using them but had great blood trails.i shot Nap shockwaves and I only had one issue the o rings would break after time or become weak and finding replacement blades was a pain but had great blood trails. The Nap killzones I didn't really care for plus they won't close after going through a deer and seemed my deer would run further when shot with one and the blood trails were ok not great. And the g5 t3s had awesome entrance and exit holes and great blood trails but every deer I ever shot with one so far a total of 4 the broadhead breaks off were it screws into the arrow even on a pass thru it's weird I shot a doe had a complete pass through the arrow looks great and reusable but the broadhead is gone and the threaded part is stuck in my inserts so I'm looking for something new what do you guys use and trust I was thinking of trying grim reaper heads.

I've used the RAGE since they came out. I've since changed to the RAGE Chisel Tips. I've had great luck with them. I use to shoot the fixed blade Vortex. They were great broadheads. It was operator error when there was a bad shot. Not the broadhead.

In the last 5 years I have gone from shooting the G5 Montec (shot these for quite a few years), to the G5 T3, to now the NAP Killzone Maxx..

I shot quite a few deer and 3 bears with the Montecs and had excellent luck with them. I switched to the T3 just to try something different and I also had great luck with them as well. I didn't have any break on me, I did lose one because the arrow broke and I wasn't able to find that part of the arrow.
This year is my first year with the Killzone Maxx heads, and I'll tell you what I am impressed! I have shot 3 deer with them so far and wow the holes those things leave are incredible!! I shot 2 of the deer with the same head, just cleaned them up and put them back in the quiver..
Sounds like you've had a stroke of bad luck with your heads!

Just about anything will do the job if you put it in the right place. Mechanicals will be easier to tune and bigger cut, fixed are more dependable and penetrate better. Pick your poison. I've shot rage, slick tricks, dirt nap, and muzzys and have killed with all

With these broadheads breaking it sounds like you hit alot of bone?
I've never shot a mechanical so I can't be of much help but when I was younger I shot muzzy because my dad did. Plain and simple.
The last two seasons I've shot shuttle T's and they've been a great and durable fixed head. I wish they were razor sharp but their case is that they are thicker to never break. Fair enough and they kill deer for me.
I tried gizztrick 2s and they curved right and sounded like a wasp flying so I need to look into that next time I'm at the bow shop.

my experience is with rage, 2 blade, 3 blade, and chisel tip. All worked flawlessly. At least 35 kills with them. Muzzy and Slick Trick standard. both work flawlessly.

I've had great luck with German Kinetics but light blood trails as they are so surgically sharp the holes close up. Still dead deer.
Slick Tricks work incredibly well for me too.

I've used mainly mechanicals since I first started bowhunting over 15 years ago. I've tried lots of them and I know what to look for..... What I currently shoot and the best I've shot so far is the dead ringer rampage 2 blade 2 inch cut. This thing is field point accurate, extremely Strong ( the blades and the ferrule), very sharp, the way it opens is so reliable( I don't see how it can fail), I can take sharp quartering shots without deflections and it makes around a 1 inch entrance hole and 2 inch+ exit hole (bigger on angling hits). It penetrates extremely well too. I shot a 195 lb. Buck this year at 30 yards right in the shoulder. 64 lbs., 28 inch draw. The arrow went through the shoulder and cut through the ribs on the other side and the leg bone stopped the broadhead from passing through. The deer ran 70 yds with the leg grinding on the broadhead. One blade is barely bent the other one is fine, and the ferrule is fine. Most of the time I pass through a deer and the blades are still sharp and nothing is bent and I can reuse. I have rarely seen this kind of durable out of a mechanical broadhead. You wont be sorry if you try one.

Try a QAD exodus. I shoot 40 pounds and I have shot 4 bucks with them in 2 years. They make awesome blood trails and I've even had 2 pass through a out of 4 bucks. Unless they stop making them, I'll never change. I started out years ago with Muzzy heads. Worked perfectly. I then switched to Rocky Mountain Snyper's, both two and three blade. They were the original Rage style heads and I'm pretty sure Rage stole that idea or bought them out. They worked great too, just weren't all that durable.

I'm back to a fixed head, Slick Tricks to be exact and don't ever foresee changing. They're accurate, tough as nails and produce awesome blood trails. Anything mechanical can fail. Simple, in my opinion is better.

When I first started bow hunting I used the wasp 3 blade cam lok. I still have three of them with spare blades. Currently using rage two blade.
