Thought I'd put together a short vid to help when it comes to choosing a broadhead for turkey hunting.

Agree 100% with everything you said! I've shot a pile of turkeys with an NAP Spitfire XXX, and it does the trick every single time. Last year my son shot his bird using a crossbow and an NAP FOC, which is a 170 grain 2 blade 3" cut head, and it annihilated him. As you said, the bigger the cut, the better.

Also, I tend to shoot a lighter/faster arrow for turkeys than I do for whitetails. Since momentum and penetration aren't an issue I want something that's shooting flat in case I need to make a quick shot where I don't know the exact distance. I'm not worried about speed since they don't duck or move, but the trajectory of my arrow is important. Unless I'm doing my job right and shooting them at about 12 steps, which is perfect for me!

Full sized pickup with a Stought grill guard would be super handy "round here":busted:

I’ve been shooting Grim Reaper Whitetail Specials for a few years and they always do the trick too. Just harvested another longbeard this year with one.

if it works on deer, it will work on turkey .. I use ('cause I still have enough) Rocket Steelhead XL's or Sidewinders, both 1 1/2" cut ...
