I started shooting my broadheads recently and I found that they dip right before they hit the target. Im shooting at 20 yrds and they fly true for 15 yrds and then dip at 5yrds and hit the target low. Anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?? Im shooting 100 grain muzzy 3 blade. Thanks!
Nate, this may help you. Specifically page 14. http://www.thearcher.com/depot/resou...uningguide.pdf Brett
go with the new blood runners or the montecs..a buddy has great luck with the Wasp Boss 4blades too Good Luck!
I was shooting the muzzy 100's also and I went to the carbon express f15 and I love them. They fly great. Scott
If your nocking point is high (or your rest is low), fixed blade broadheads will "plane" low compared to field points. Basically, the surface of the blades is catching air and pushing your arrow tip low. Try raising your rest just a little bit, until your broadheads are hitting where you want them to. Then try your field tips. All fix blade heads can and will plane some, especially in windy conditions.
