I use the crimson talon 100 grain broad heads and dont wanna leave em cuz of the hole they put in a deer makes tracking easy when you see em crash :tu: but cant seem to find a blazer vane that is *flanged* (i kno its not the right term but yea..) any advise on the right vanes/arrows? im trying not to break the bank

I have found that the best arrow flight with crimson talons is having a non-flanged vane, blazers were best, fletched at a non-helical 2 degree offset. If you have a lot of fletch "control" then the broadhead, due to the nature of its' configuration, and the fletch fight for control of the arrow. The best arrow flight is with a well tuned bow and arrow with a slight offset to the arrow's fletching.

This was told to me by the crimson talon technical representative and I saw it for myself when trying it at home.
