broadhead vs mechanical

    im new and am using muzzy 4 blades.but am wondering if i should try the new swhackers.i guess im watching to much T.V.so whats the better blade set up?ive heard that mech. dont always deploy and fixed can be hard to tune.so let the debate begin.

    You need to provide more info. Such as bow, draw weight, speed, arrow weight, typical shot distance on game, type of game you will use the heads on, etc.

    all heads will kill in the right spot but iam a cut on contact guy myself

    Just to clarify. You realize a mechanical IS a broad head right? I think what you are trying to compare is fixed blade BH's vs Mechanical Blade BH's.

    sorry for that im using a PSE firestorm lite.my draw weight is about 65 my length of draw is 26in.im just worried about bad arrow flight.the arrows are gold tip 5575's.im using muzzy four blades now.i think im just letting commercials influence my hunting.

    There are good mechanicals and bad as well as fixed blade. I have had good luck with mechanicals. It comes down to personal preference. If you have trouble getting good arrow flight with fixed blade mechanicals are a good option. Muzzy's are a great head. Everyone has a different opinion. Just stick with what works for you. Have a great season.
