Well its that time of the year again! I went out this morning and did a little bit of tuning to get my new Slick Trick Standards grouping right with my field tips. Only took 1/32 adjustment to get them hitting right on out to 40. I had them tuned at 20 a few weeks ago but I went out and shot at the absolute max distance you should shoot a whitetail at (shout out to Justin!!!) Turns out i was hitting about 4 inches low so I raised my rest about a 32nd of an inch and BAM! I wanted to see everyone elses opinion on this, I have 5 arrows that i will only be using for hunting this year so I used one broadhead and shot each of my hunting arrows with it to make sure they were all hitting good. Do you guys shoot each of your hunting arrows to make sure they hit the same? Also just wanted to point out that I put my broadhead through the block probably 25-30 times so far and those blades are still Razer sharp! Cant wait to see what they do to a whitetail!
Looks good, but you should check out each individual bh that you plan to shoot at a deer to make sure they all fly the way they should Sent from my SM-G930P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Yea sad part is I’ve only had it for about a year Adam Matthews Z7 Magnum 29/70 Gold Tip Hunter XT 100g Slick Trick Standard
I was also wondering about putting all the broadheads on each arrow they will be on during the season just to make sure everything is working the way they should, especially switching broadheads this year.
Every arrow is different and flies differently. If you are steady enough to see that differance.... Idk
