    Hey guys,
I have not been into hunting for long and just got my first broadheads as i am going for a pig hun in a few
weeks. I am only in highschool so have barely any money at all.
I need to make a target to shoot broadheads at, i need to tune my bow for them so any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Matt

All i can think of is take some boards and set them up and put a bunch of sand in front of it take some cardboard make a circle in it that's what I have done in the past and it worked

There is a video of how a guy made a frame out of wood and inserted layers of carpet samples from stores and smashed them
together. Stopped the broadheads and worked out fine. I took my bowhunters certification here in NE and that is the same type of targets they had and they worked perfect also. Might have to go to a few carpet places but hey it is cheap and works.
I have never done it but have thought about it. Hope this might help.

I would think the carpet fibers would be stuck all over the broadhead blades, making very hard to pull them out no?

Yea I thought that the carpet would do that too.
I have been told that if i get polystyrine/styrofoam and glue sheefts of that together so i have about a foot thick that, that is
    great for Broadheads?
Anyone heard of this being alright?

    Cheers,
    matt

Buy a sheet or two of the styrofoam insulation board. Cut squares into desired sized. Stack them together then tighten them down with two ratchet straps. It's not a Rinehart, but it will last long enough to make sure your BHs are hitting where they are supposed to be.

You can also take a cardboard box and stuff it with old jeans and/or other clothes. Just make sure you cut off the buttons and zippers.
