    Has anyone used the dead ringer trauma broad head for whitetails? Are they a good broad head

    You put it where it should go bet it does the trick.

    All about shot placement...bet you if you shoot them in the ribs through the lungs with one they end up dead with a monstrous blood trail. Marginal shots might lack penetration, but those monster blades might get the job done regardless. Just make sure you have enough energy to push those blades all the way through.

    In my stupid novice past I have shot some deer at steep angles and not gotten pass throughs which made tracking difficult and in some cases impossible. Grid searching for a dead deer during the peak season is no good for anyone. My entire goal now is to get two holes one on each side of the animal so that they are easy to find. Now I shoot some reasonable mechanicals or slick tricks and make sure I have a decent shot angle with a high probability of pass through.

    Yeah they will definitely leave a good blood trail and I should have enough energy I'm using a bear arena 30 at 60 lbs. and I'm shooting amazing with it .
