Do you guys align all of your broad heads the same way? Meaning, are all of the blades on your broadheads aligned the same way so that you are gettting the same sight picture from each arrow? The reason I ask this is any little change in my sight picture in terms of the length of my broadheads/practice points/broadhead alignment with a blade up/blade down/blade sideways seems to slightly change my accuracy. I thought if I had all of my broadheads aligned the same from practice to the field that I would be better off. Any thoughts?
Sounds as though your using the tip of your arrow In reference for aiming so yes I'd say line all of your BH's the same. As for myself I align all of my BH's the same. Not for reasons above but rather just personal preference In how I like to see them. On 2 blades my heads are flat. With my Snuffers one of the 3 blades Is exactly on top. Again, just personal preference with me. I just like the looks of them better like that.
Steve, I actually see one image when I am aiming my bow. I see one image formed between the tip of my arrow and the target. I don't use the tip to really measure the distance to the target at all, but I do see it and when it appears to be "different" it does affect my shooting.
I agree with Steve. If it messes with your sight window, then keep them the same. If it is for tuning, spin test and go with how ever they set. I could not tell you how a single one of my broadheads line up.
it's mostly a personal prefernece. But I have shot my arrows with the broadhead turned every possible different angle. I have determended which way I think they fly the best so I turn them all that way so they are consistent.. This eliminates a varible, makes me more confident. Sometimes confidence can make a huge difference... woodsman
