Here is my Wac'em broad head. Got a pass through on a buck shot earlier this season. Shot was nearly broadside and 25 yards, Hit high and not recovered. (He is doing fine) buried itself about 4-5 inches into the ground with a 30" and 60# draw. Head and blades are in perfect condition. I would use again and just replace the blades. Even though they took no damage. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
And this is the final use for the slick trick magnum.... blades are a little bent now. I can probably straighten them back out but I feel ok retiring it. Shot another deer yesterday but I hit high and in the spine. Not a shot to brag about, especially at 20 yards but after a follow up shot through vitals he was dead in less than 1 minute and no tracking which is always a plus in the thick of east Texas. I'll take a win when I can get it! To recap this broadhead has killed 4 animals (coyote, hog, and 2 deer) with only minor touch ups in between kills. It flies like a field point, though I've never target shot to verify distanced shots. Would definitely recommend since I can reuse them most of the time. They sell replacement blades for the Slick Tricks, half the price of new ones if the ferrule is still in good shape. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm not sure they're still making them so good thing I stocked up last year! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Another wac'em result, The picture with a bit of blood on the shoulder is the exit, other is obviously entrance. Shot was made at 25 yards on a deer quartering away pretty hard. 60# draw and 30" DL. Arrow passed through both lungs and out the shoulder. I was very surprised that it broke through the shoulder at such an odd angle, the last 2" of the arrow got stuck in his shoulder and as a result the fletchings plugged that exit wound pretty well. As you can see in the last pic two of The blades fell out of the broad head, but I found one of them on the ground at impact site. All three blades were still in the head as the arrow passed through him. I think the broad head had just gotten a little loose in my quiver. And they fell out after he broke the arrow on a sapling nearby. So that is user error. The head is not bent or damaged at all, blades need replacement (obviously) very impressed with this head. Here is some blood sprayed at impact site(I think I clipped one of his arteries.) all the red on that plant stalk is blood. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Yes, caught the back end of the first and slammed the second. Only one of the blades actually connected with the right lung, but it made about a 3" slice along the inside of it, nearly severing the corner of it Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My son shot this boar last week. He weight probably 150lbs. Slightly quartering shot, 22yrds, NAP Kill Maxx 100gr, Sniper 370 crossbow. It hit him hard enough it knocked him over, blow the knock out & almost knock the insert out. Damage consist of broken blade, farell is bent. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Shot this doe this morning. 30yrds, hard quartering away, arrow clipped hind quarter, got up inside, took out one lung, sliced the heart & broke the second rib from the front. No pass through. Shot with Creed XS, 399gr Maxima Red, Rage Hypo @ 390fps. Ferrell is good, one blade was bent. Will replace the bent blade & shoot again. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Love it! I may need to get my dad some mechanical broadheads for his crossbow. I shot a rage at a boar with my compound bow, but a neck shot because I was afraid the compound wouldn't make it happen (neck shot worked like a charm, pass through). Did this shot pass though or come out the other side? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
No pass through. It hit the opposite side shoulder. That’s what knocked him over!! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Killed my buck with my 60# Elite and 100gr 2” Swacker. 20 yard shot, pass through. Excellent blood trail, went 100 yards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Slick trick magnum 100gr Double lung pass through. Broadhead was reusable (I️ did sharpen it although no nicks or dings really) Doe died in about 40 yds, good blood trail.
Slick trick magnum She was quartering away and kinda turned away when I️ shot. Hit back and went through both lungs and nicked heart. Dead in 40 yds. Broadhead was reusable. I will sharpen.
recently switched from NAP Hellrazors to Grimm Reapers. Don't have pictures or the entrance and exits but took a 135-140 in 200+lb buck and a year old doe this season. The Hellrazors put both deer down within 100 yards but not a single drop of blood from either of them! I have been using the Hellrazors for the past 5 seasons and have take multiple other deer with them and I have always been disappointed with the blood trails but never lost a deer. I am happy with the killing performance but very disappointed with the blood trails. my friend shoots Grimm Reapers and recommended them so giving them a try the rest of the season.
My arrow clipped a branch and I guess you could say I got lucky. Rage slip cam chisel tip Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Another victim of the Swacker 100gr 1.5”. GF shot buck at 20 yards slightly quartering away with Ravin 15. Pass through, hit shoulder on exit. Great blood trail, went less than 100yards. Blade is bent on one side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
