Rage 100 grain 2 blade. I've used Muzzy's and Thunderheads in the past but have no reason to switch back. This will be my 3rd year using them and haven't had any problems so far like some have had in the past.

So "on average" did the Thunderheads typically leave better blood trails?

    On average, no probably not.
I just have 5x the experience with them, so they are my comfort zone.

G5 Strikers 125 gr. I switched away from the Montecs because I can replace a damaged blade on the Strikers without the entire head being ruined.

Been using Muzzy 3 blades for years. I'm thinking of switching it up. I'm undecided at this point but I'm leaning towards Slick Trick Mags or 2 blade Bloodrunners.

You should try the Thunderhead Edge w/the serrated blades for this year. Give you something new to try, while still sticking with the old standby. If they made them in 125 grains I'd be shooting them for sure.

Good Luck out there with that Trad-Bow, I hope we can see a pic of your smiling face holding onto the horns of the trophy of your dream in a few short months!!! :tu:

Shooting ST's for the last few years, I've been AMAZED with how well they fly!!! I can honestly say once tuned up, I feel AS CONFIDENT shooting an arrow with a ST as I do with an arrow tipped with a field point!!!! :tu:

Good to see SOMEONE else still likes a little FOC.....:tu: .....

I'll be sticking with my Slick Trick Magnums for deer, and some ST standards for elk, gonna be shooting either the Trykon XL at 70# or my AM3 at about 66# (custom limbs), but I'm still on the bubble as to which I'll be shooting. What I do know is that the arrow will weigh between 445-460gr when finished out....

Muzzy MX-4 100 grain. Used them for the past 3 years and see no reason to change.

BloodRunner 3 blade , Best of both worlds big holes like a mech. head and fly like darts but yet a fixed blade.. And of the three deer I seen killed last year with them the farthest one ran was 80 yards and the other two died with in sight.. Walt

Haven't shot them past 15 yards or so, but they flew great and were not noisey at all. NAP increased the spring tension on the blades this year so they stay closed better when leaving the bow, but still open with only slight pressure. I pushed one into the inside of a cantalope and it was fully delployed before the tip sunk all the way in. Good stuff.

    Rage 2 Blade....100gr

I also have some Muzzy 3 and 4 blades, but the Rage's were flying truer then either of them so I am sticking with them. Got some kind of NAP also, they never tracked well, going to try them on our crossbow and see how they fly.

I did get some 125 gr field points for s n g's to see how they fly,..but I have so much invested in 100gr heads I am not sure I want to find out they fly better.

Innerloc EXP 100. 2 for 2 with these with full upper rib penetration - not tempted to try something else for the moment.
Don't know if still being made, but bought 4 packs on ebay. :tu:
