I have a buddy who is going to start hunting with a recurve. He's gonna be hunting my property.

What broad heads would you recommend? He's shooting about 43lbs at his draw weight.

Magnus buzz cuts or stingers work well with low poundage

x2 on the magnus stingers. Some four blade 150gr heads will do the trick. That's the weight I shoot. It's really more like a two blade with two little bleeders. No noticeable difference in penetration and the extra blades help keep wounds open for better blood trails. Any super sharp, fixed blade, COC broadhead will do though.

X3 on the Magnus Stingers, I use the 125 grain single blade broadheads. They are fieldpoint accurate and durable, the blades can be resharpened or replaced depending on what you prefer.
