I have a question? I paper tuned my bow and sighted in. My field points are dead on but my broad heads are about 4 inches left. Do any of you guys experience this and if so do you sight in for your broad heads impact or do you fix it so field tips and broads are hitting in the same spot? I am shooting Muzzy three blade 100g. Thanks for the input.

Something with the setup is not right. My muzzy 3 blades have always hit the same spot as field points when the bow is in tune. There are guys on here that are masters at tuning a bow. I hope one of them will give you some tips. I am thinking the rest is off a bit? Maybe try moving it out from the riser a very little bit. (assuming you are right handed) Always mark everything so you have a reference as to where it was when you started.

Had same problem years ago. I shot a 130 grain 4 blade muzzy.
Shot them through paper a few feet from where I was standing had perfect holes. Down range 20 yds. had slight tears. At 30 yd's tears getting bigger. At 40 yds.would get some arrows to go erratic. I could not find anything wrong with my setup. Went to local pro shop. They had checked everything possible, found nothing. They called another archer who shot the same broadhead and he immediately asked straight fletching and we said yes. That's the problem.... They went and got an arrow the same weight and length with the large right helical fletch. Arrows shooting straight as field points. Still shooting muzzy's for close to 30 years now. Still use longer fletch with the right helical. Blazers & Quick Spins just do not tame shooting little left or right. My problem was only 2" though not 4". You still might have other issues.

Good post and exactly what the owner of a pro shop told me (family business for over 35 years) when I asked about switching to fixed blades. My 3" vanes just won't work with fixed blades.

So is it helical fletchings or the size of the fletching/vane?

Both. All good pro shops are going to put a twist on your fletchings.

My Muzzy's fly great with a right 3 degree helical on my Blazer vanes...maybe that will help.

i couldn't get my qad exodus heads to fly straight either, 2 would hit low and to the left and 1 was high and to the right so i adjusted the sight for the low and to the left and when i shot the other arrow it was higher and further to the right so i said the heck with it and went back to my NAP killzones and now i'm breaking nocks off. I would have liked to shoot something with the qad heads because they were well built but i just didn't feel comfortable with them

I had the exact same problem not too long ago. My field points were dead on but my broadheads shot way left. I tried increasing my draw weight, thinking my arrow spine was too weak. I had my bow paper tuned twice, still shot 3-4" left. I tested about 6 or 7 different types of fixed blade broadheads to see if one of them worked but they all shot left. My center line was perfect so myself, and the guy at the archery shop, realized it was a form issue. I was subtly torquing my bow and pulling (as opposed to squeezing) the trigger release. I quit shooting field points and shot my slick trick magnum 100gr exclusively until I was able to correct my form. Now my broadheads and my field points shoot dead on with tight groups. Any flaw in your form, even with a properly tuned bow, will manifest while shooting fixed blade broadheads. Have an archery expert watch you while you shoot, maybe he can adjust a few things to help you correct the problem.

^^correction, I thought my spine was too stiff and attempted to create more flex by increasing the draw weight

Assuming proper clearance and form issues (and assuming you're RH), your spine is probably too stiff. Increase your draw weight (do a 1/2 turn each at a time), or increase your broadhead weight.

If you give us your setup info, it would make it easier (DW, arrow length, arrow spine, draw length, bow make/model).
