I'm toying around with my FOC and currently using an adjustable weight system. However, if anyone has any experience with the brass sytle inserts please let me know. I was curious about the brass insert strength and if a special glue was needed due to the brass itself?

I have been using brass inserts for a long time now.

I have used super glue and epoxy to hold them in, some times the super glue will let go and the insert will pull out so now I just use 24 hr epoxy in fact it's the same epoxy I use to make the bows.

I just use the stick glue from 3 rivers on my brass Inserts. They'll never come out.

I've tried it all with the brass inserts. When my arrows would hit something solid they would pop out. Now, I use Gorrila glue and never had a problem since I made the switch!

I just use standard hot melt glue. You've got to be a little careful with it on carbons but I've never lost an insert with it, and I can easily remove them if I want to salvage them or adjust things any.
