Slow day at the office..had two whole rear venison shanks from the buck I killed during the Iowa bow season.. Braised shanks in a redwine reduction with root vegetables.
Looks great and perfect for a dreary weather day. Interesting the muscle groups held together, unless you tied them while slow cooking. This is on my todo list for next winter!
