    Hey Everybody,

So I got my first bow recently and have been practicing with it almost every other day to try and get better with it. When I first got my bow I wasnt looking to drop a ton of money on arrows, atleast not right off the start anyway. So the basspro shop I was at have some Gold Tip velocity arrows on clearance for $25 bucks 1/2 dozen orig. $44. Now the arrows shoot fine from what I can tell, but I was wondering, are their better arrows?? I know they are all pretty much the same except for weight and what they are made out of.

Is their any that yall reccommend that may be better to use?

have not heard anything bad about gold tip and if they have a 6-pack on sale for $25 bucks that is a good price. remember that is the uncut price so you can use the money saved to get them cut, inserts, etc. which line of velocity are they, the Hunter, XT, or pro series? i was at my BPS yesterday and i can tell bow season starts soon here because the arrow section was almost bare

I think they are the Velocity Hunters, I want to get more arrows to shoot while practicing, and I also made a "robin hood" shot the other night from 20yards while practicing and then shot another arrow through the fletching of one I already shot so im down 2 arrows right now.

I could probably save that back arrow but I am having too much fun telling people that know less about archery that I do that I actually meant to do this.

I checked and the arrows I bought for $25 were Gold Tip white tail hunters which were their basic arrows the guy said.

If I was shooting like that, I wouldnt switch to a more expensive arrow. For one you are shooting great with those and second just think if youd did that with arrows that were 10 bucks a pop? I shoot Gold Tip Expedition Hunters and they are 5.50 a peice with Blazers ready to go.

Call me cheap, but I buy my arrows at walmart. My buddy spends more for his arrows but does'nt kill any more deer than I do.
