Brand new to bows/bowhunting

    Hi,
    I am absolutely brand new to bowhunting. My only experience with bows is bowfishing carp. With NY opening bow season Oct 1st now, I thought it was time to get into bowhunting. I've hunted deer 20 years with shotgun/muzzleloader. I'm excited to see deer being deer and not running scared. I'm a DIEHARD waterfowler. Ducks and geese are my passion. I just bought a bow last week, a Hoyt Charger package. I'm a lefty so the bow shop had to order it for me. I am just dying to get it and start shooting!!! I'm looking foward to learning all I can about this.

    Welcome to the site and the addiction! Also, congrats on the new bow. I've always wanted to try waterfowl too, it seems like a blast!
