[/URL][/IMG]BRAKEN WEAR HUNTING APPAREL UPDATE- Well it's been a long time since we've given you an update. After vigorously testing our apparel for the last 18 months we have finally given our prototypes the nod of approval. We are starting production on key pieces as we speak and look forward to delivering premium hunting apparel in the next few months. Generally, when most apparel manufacturers are developing a new garment, they will test for durability and breathability. They usually then jump straight to choosing a method of cut and stitch, and tend to overlook other important factors that 'you' the hunter will pick up on during your first five minutes in the field. The fabrics selected for each garment have been chosen to work within a specific climate and terrain. The fabrics also went through an additional testing criteria; we only considered fabrics that were super quiet and as light weight as possible. Minimal fabric noise is key for getting close out in the field and keeping the fabric weight as light as possible meant you could hunt longer and further than before. Our first range will include- The long sleeve 1/2 zip SCORCHER TOP, made from a lightweight and ultra-quiet fabric by Toray. Microscopic holes throughout maximises air flow and evaporation. Perfect for the active hunter keeping you cool, dry and comfortable in the hottest conditions. It comes with a laser cut, glued chest pocket that will fit your range finder or phone. Elasticated thumb loops make taking layers on and off easy and has the added benefit of extending the sleeve length, camouflaging your hands. The SCORCHER PANT is made from a light weight, four-way stretch fabric. Ultra-quiet fabric, combined with silent slide YKK zippers make this pant one of the quietest on the market. Ergonomic pocket positioning front and back allows for multiple storage options. Extended leg air vents are perfect for dumping excess heat. You can also choose whether you want the pant with an articulated knee pad. PEAK SEASON TOP – is a two-layer fabric, constructed by bonding a light weight ultra-quiet shell with a micro fleece lining. Providing warmth for a pre-dawn start or all day insulation for the cooler hunting months. The top has two large chest pockets, two side pockets and redesigned pit zips making dumping excess heat easier. All pockets have silent slide YKK zippers. PEAK SEASON BOTTOM - Constructed from the same two-layer fabric as the top. The pant comes with two side pockets and two cargo pockets, one of those being water resistant. (Ideal for stowing your iPhone in a rain shower). Extended leg vents are perfect for dumping excess heat. One of the best features is a large dry seat waterproof membrane (20,000mm+) great for glassing on damp or wet surfaces. The articulated knee pad is also offered as an option in this range. FUSION FLEECE HOODY - is an exceptional temperature regulating mid layer. Fusion fleece fabrics allow you to retain heat in your bodies critical zones, while strategic side panels of micro fleece expel excess heat from non-critical areas. It also features micro fleece side pockets and fitted hood to keep wind at bay. ULTRA DOWN HOODY - Down-tek 850fill power water repellent goose down has unrivalled warmth to weight ratio. The down jacket has a soft nylon outer shell and is super lightweight, highly compressible and amazingly warm, making it a great piece for glassing or sitting tight in a blind or tree stand. It has two side pockets and a detachable hood with all the needed adjustments to ensure a neat fit. It even comes with its own labelled stow away pocket. ARID RAIN SHELL - It's lightweight, quiet, waterproof, and packs away into its own labelled stow away pocket. The fabric is a three-layer construction, micro ripstop outer, ePTFE 20,000mm+ membrane and tricor next to skin for added comfort. Featuring two side pockets and redesigned pit zips making dumping excess heat easier. The hood has two adjustment axis for an improved fit minimising areas where rain can get in, ensuring you will stay drier for longer in the wettest conditions.
