Lately the radio stations In my area have been flooded with BP commercials. Their all of a sudden sponsoring concerts and events In the area and giving out many free passes and such. Their also saying don't quit on us please being your probably quitting on a family member or a neighbor who works for us and that they need your support through all of this. To me It's to no surprise that they are now bringing the "family thing" Into this. What's your thoughts? I don't care for the way their going about It with the family and neighbor thing.
I guess I really can't blame them for doing something to soften the blow. If they are going to fix this thing, then need to stay in business. I haven't seen or heard the advertising yet, so I can't really comment on how it's hitting me.
Being in Louisiana, every other commercial seems to be a BP commercial with the apologizing to the Gulf Coast.
I have no problem what so ever with them apologizing like they are. I just didn't quite care for them bringing the family thing Into It Is all.
Same thing over here, but probably not to the same extreme. When we flew to Jamaica I could see oil slicks in the gulf not to far out of Houston's port. Nothing to big, but oil none the less
