I underestimated the "force". Geographically-situational history and propoganda were not giving the depth of what I read, here, its' proper due. Brain-washed - comes closer.
Haven't really gave it much thought. But if you look at countries like Greece, where unions have ran the country dry, you do the math. I mean some folks over there are fighting for retirement at 55. Come on now. 55 and you can't work? I mean if you asked those who have dropped out of the work force at 55, they would probably say they are better off enjoying the rest of their life not working, but in the long run if it runs the goverment dry with social benefit cost, and they lose everything, who won? Kinda like if I started a union and basically got every employee 50% raise in pay. Sure I would be happy for a while until the company went under. Then none of us are happy.
Ok you got me, I cannot argue with that logic. Being I only ask if what those men did in the past took a risk. There are so many things I disagree with some unions in todays time. I think they have become selfish and greedy, but I reconize their intent was and what some sacerfice for the rest of us. Do I think the Unions built the Middle class? No Do I think Unions made a postive influnece ? Yes, but Unions like anything with money got big and corrupted, we could ask Hoffa, but....
Gary... For probably the 10th time, now...you've tried to use the "Limbaugh" thing to discredit what I say. Even if I did listen to him (or anyone else), you're still deflecting. And for the 10th time, I don't listen to him any more than I listen to NBC; CBS; CNN: Foxnews or any other news source. And, likely, much less. What IS obvious (based on what you print here, for all to see) - is what I said earlier, is true. I don't have to prove it. You're doing a great job.

Slavery was no longer legal as of 1865 by way of the Thirteenth Amendment. Obviously the other 91% prior to the Union boom in the 30's weren't all African Slaves or Chinese Slaves or we would all be eating General Tso's or Soul Food. Not that some would mind some Mo Tso. So the white man had no jobs before unions?
What properganda have I said? Besides my carried comment which I all ready stated was wrong choice of words. You don't believe automobile change the economy for the better and pushed the bar up here in the USA? Just like the train, cheap steel, Erie Canel, cotton and all the other game changers? BTW try a little Huckabee, he is a way better head on his shoulder than most.
Oh excuse me for not breaking it down day by day for you. The ones I'm talking about had Jobs in mines or RR and others (use your imagination here) and were treated like dirt, who are you talking about Ben Cartwright, Matt Dillion US Marshal, Howdy fricken Doody!
Just get your facts straight. You do yourself no good when you spew crap like that. Just the facts, can you dig it?
Ha Haaaa...It tells me she just got off the cage on her way in to work, but I can see where you would have trouble figuring that out. You better sprint your ass over there and post them up quick, your starting to look unbelievable again.
My 13 year old grandson is over right now and he understood it, what does that tell ya ! I can dig it, you trying to be like Sliver.
It tells me the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Hopefully he will start researching instead of being influenced by speculation and rumor to break the chains that bind him.
and in total violation and not wearing stripes. Lets see if coalmining sliver even knows what that means.
So Germ, just asking mind ya, don't go getting your g-string all knotted.LOL Do you gain all your current events from the likes of say CNN or MSNBC?
