I would say they got bigger fish to fry than worrying about his whereabouts unlike you.

See, its just news soundbites just to cater and get folks like you up in arms.

I never said seeing him on a boat was going to make them kill themselves, where are you seeing this? If you read what I wrote and comprehended it you would know that I posted a link to a story about suicidal fisherman. The story was written before the yachting event and I stated that I could only imagine what the impact of seeing this CEO yachting would have on them.

Do you get it yet Captain Comprehension?

For the record he has not been replaced as of yet, he is actually back on the job as I type this. It was stated that he would be replaced but a time line wasn't offered. And for the record also, O'samma was golfing with foot in the mouth Bidden at the same time of the Yacht racing. Just saying.

More Americans should be worried about this guy rather than some Brit on a boat.

Why is it, when any kinda discussion is being had with you, you go into these circular arguements with no end. Richmur brought up that some CEO was on a boat. I replied, simple as that. You didn't like what I had to say and said he was being insensitive. I replied back again that those are just feelings, again you didn't like what I had to say and out of left field talk about how fisherman has lost thier livelyhood. I explain again, that it was just emotions and doesn't fix the issue or help them(hense useless) to worry about a ceo being on a boat. you replied

"Not useless, it actually causes already frustrated fisherman more angst and heartbreak"

You then throw another one out of left field with " asking if I am aware of what is happening in the gulf". Duh, What do you think we have been talking about??? Then you switch gears again, and post about some suicidal vietnamese wanting commit suicide over the gulf (nothing to do with the ceo on the boat). Again, we were discussing about this ceo on a boat. And all you can do is imagine how they feel. Imagine in one hand and crap in the other, and see what you get.

But yet thru all that crap, you think your a comprehension champion. Freaking amazing.

I have only debated a point that has several links to back up what I am saying. Have you provided one link that shows anything to back up the insensitivity you support? You simply quote what someone you know has allegedly said and now they are the voice of the Gulf in your eyes. You have accused me of saying things I haven't said and attacked my reading comprehension while not reading and retaining what I have posted. Do I think I am a Comprehension Champion? The answer is no; however, it is apparent that you twist and turn what is written and get frustrated when someone posts links that contradict your "opinion" of how people really feel.

I like the idea of BP paying for the whole cleanup and kicking the president out of office because of ineffectiveness of lifting the jones act so other companies could have came in and saved alot of the gulf. bamas about a useless you know what.

hey, if obama hadn't clearly said the fed was in charge, well, then he wouldn't have any blame... but he clearly took this ball, and it was a tactical error on his part to do so... is BP at fault? most certainly, and their ceo is basking in wealth that we (the consumers) have put in him... I understand arguments for and against the ceo and a boycott of their product... but I also understand the criticism obama is getting as well... its his own fault in many ways... just like katrina was bush's fault (sic), whether or not it truly was, because he was in power, as they say, the buck stops there... obama is in charge, the blame will ultimately fall on him whether deserved or not...

You know not a fan of Obama at all, but Bush took month long vacations while two wars were going(one he started for oil, Ironic) on and played golf. In today's connect world he can work from any where.

On a side note BP's CEO is MIA:ninja:

Let me add this is all about coin. Remember the ousted ACORN? Who we heard got billions of goverment money. Well they were cleared of all charges being the prostiute deal was a setup by some wing nuts. Anyone want to know how much federal money ACORN got, since 1996 they got 53 million dollars. 14 years 53 million dollars, anyone want to guess what BP has in contracts with US? Over 9 billion, now I heard a lot of wingnuts yelling about ACORN and not spending your tax dollars. Where are these guys now? BP is spending over 9 billion of your tax dollars and runing the gulf in process.

I personally have no problem with obama taking in a ball game or a round of golf... the irony is that he's played more golf at this point in his term than bush did and the left had a sh!t fit about how much bush was on the golf course... being pres is a stressful job, they need to get some relaxation and get a breather once in a while... I got not problem with that whether its bush obama clinton or whoever...

but also, by the same token, I can't blame the ceo of BP for not doing something similar... he can personally do nothing to accelerate the clean up, he's not much more than a mouthpiece for the company in this situation... both of these guys have been going 24/7 for weeks/months, they needed a break... but to point out the ceo without allowing that the other is doing similar is just slightly hypocritical, especially when El Pres has taken responsibility for this clean up...

Bush was a ranch man, one of the few things I respected about him. He'd rather cut wood or a clean a fence line.

Obama will be a one term President if the Republicans can find a candiate worth a damn.

Well you better find some other reason to kick him out of office besides the Jones Act BC,
§ 55113. Use of foreign documented oil spill response vessels "Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an oil spill response vessel documented under the laws of a foreign country may operate in waters of the United States on an emergency and temporary basis, for the purpose of recovering, transporting, and unloading in a United States port oil discharged as a result of an oil spill in or near those waters.

    A little more.

In addition, the Oil Pollution Act gives the on-site coordinator from the U.S. Coast Guard the ability to use foreign skimmer vessels if "an adequate number and type of oil spill response vessels documented under the laws of the United States cannot be engaged to recover oil from an oil spill in or near those waters in a timely manner.

There are around 400 skimmers being used in the Gulf, We have access to over 1600 more. I'm sure if the Dutch knew how to plug the hole the President would ask them for help, anything short of that, they can stay out of the way and let the money go to the ones that need it in the Gulf.

We will blame most peoples ignorance for this subject on the CSACTSH (Corporate Suck Ass Conservative Talk Show Hosts)
