Jon Stewart Funny nothing i mention has to do with current events, I am strickly talking about 60 years ago. I like to watch Mike Huckabee, which I mention before. Rick unlike some I respect others views, I respect Jeff's view. I don't like guys like Limbaugh IMO all they spread is decent. Huck will sit listen to others views, give his view shake their hand and move on. I don't know if it's some dis-taste of Unions here or what. Unions have zero do with the car pushing this economy to the next level. Detroit played a huge roll, being most of the cars were made in Detroit. It's no different than the south be the engine during the industrial revolution. The supplied the cotton which was the engine that fueled the growth. I watch the History Channel most. Rick did you see the movie Gran Torino? Did you like the Movie? Rick have you seen the Movie I never miss a Stossle speacial, he is right on with many of his reports.
Rick the only news I watch is Fox news, I don't bother with the others. IMO as an indepandant Fox news, not their shows besides Mikes, is fair and balanced.
He's pretty smart, he said you should eat more Blue Berries, that it helps comprehension problems. Want me to put him on here to break it down for you.
Germ, I do call union worker hacks, don't take that personal. I comes from years of watching union carpenters try their hand at finish work.
Agreed. Gary, I'm glad you took my inquire the way you did, I appreceiate that and yes I saw Grand Torino and liked it, why do you ask?
Clints character was spot on for a 1950's Detroit Union Autoworker. My Grandfather on my mothers side lived few streets over from where they filmed that movie(Where I live a short while after my parents divorced). The big difference was the racial slurs, LOL Clints character was spot on to my Grandfather, it was scary. 60 years ago detroit was a very different place, when they moved in the mid 80's to florida the dynamic of their neighborhood had changed a lot.
