After my crazy morning yesterday, I figured I would be in for more today. Wrong. I saw one lonely doe shortly after daylight. That was it. I had to go pick up the little ones from daycare early so I'm home contemplating my game plan for tomorrow. Looks like more of the same, bluebird day in the high 50's low 60's.
I slipped out of work early to hunt... Climbing, hang my stand and it slips off the hanger. Falls to the ground, no worries... My bow broke its fall. Bent my Apache rest, knocked the crap out of my sights. Going down to the cave to see what the damage is. Sigh...
OUCH! I think you win. Hopefully the damage was minimal for what it is and you're able to recover quickly. Good luck
seems to be ok... Paper tuned and got it dialed back in at 20 and 30. Still gonna hunt my crossbow tomorrow until I am sure the bow is good.
It could have been worse! I had a guy walk by me and set up 50yds away even after we spoke for a bit.
