I'm not really a bow geek. Can someone explain to me why this bow is "wildly innovative"?

I think that they put WAY too much hype into that bow. It's practically a destroyer 340 with split limbs and supposed to be a little quieter. Looks like a impressive bow, but to me, not worth the hype and big countdown to unveiling.

Not an ugly bow but nothing impressive. Would shoot one given the chance, but I will shoot any bow given the chance.

i loved the invasion, great shooting bow, no vibration to speak of. If you liked the destroyer you'll love the invasion. :tu:

Thanks, Dan. Just a little humor to make light of the non-event.

Looks like a PSE at first glance. For me, just for me, PSE's don't have the look I like.

Probably about time to just accept the fact that bow technology has reached a point of diminishing returns.

Today's bows are no longer any "better" as much as they are just a little different.

I would say the NEED to upgrade a bow to catch up with current technology is getting damn close to a decade now.

I have a 2003 Patriot that has a 7 3/8 brace and IBO's at 320 fps and is smooth and quiet as anyone would ever need.

I have since bought an Allegiance, Fire, Admiral, and Destroyer 350..............basically out of boredom. They all shoot just fine and they all kill deer no problem.............I don't like or prefer any of them over the others...........and they cover almost a decade of technology "breakthroughs".

I got a PSE X-Force 7 three years ago and the new bowtech looks just like it and with the same specs. I think I would get the 340 or 350 first. Does anyone know what the bow is going to run. I know its got to be close to $1000. I think they have just about maxed out and the price is out of control.

It's not cheap, but anyone that walks into a pro shop, at least a decent one that sells any amount of bows, and pays more than 849.00 for this bow is making a mistake. MSRP and MAP, are rarely the norm IMO. If I was buying one, which I'm not, I would expect to pay 800 or less from my shop.
