I wouldn't say it is too high for a brand new bow. But times are tuff for a lot of guys right now and a lot of guys are holding on to what they have or looking for a real bargain. If they are going to pay that much for a used bow, they might just go ahead and buy a new one from a shop and get the service that comes with it. It's probably a slow selling time right now anyways. Just after the new bows come out or a month or so before the season is the hot selling time for bows. Good luck to you with selling it and also best of luck with your injury.
I would agree, thats not too high for that because i have one and know what it costed and i didn't get all the stuff you have with it. Thats a great deal according to me. Your selling it to get a Right handed bow...is that one left handed or something? But anyway a lot of people are having hard time and not buying much. One suggestion i have is maybe to keep all the other stuff with it, it kinda sucks if you dont weant it but really sights and stabalizers and arrows and all the stuff makes it harder to sell i think. When i buy a bow i like to put my own stuff on it and get the stuff i like. so try selling it maybe with a rest and stabalizer or something. I think you will have more luck.
Yes i failed to mention its a lefty - and furthermore bare bow , 650.00 FIRM "to your door". maybe that'll be a bit more enticing. your right i would rather my own setups than buying someone elses.
You can pick up a used BT Admiral on AT classifieds for $550 TYD bare bow. You might get more on ebay but I think you would be very fortunate to get $650 bare bow right now. Not trying to mean - just honest.
Sadly and unfortunately, I'm seeing the same as Kwilson says, and I just picked up a almost NEW Katera XL for $450 to my door, with a $100 rest on it. My local shop is selling NEW Alphamax's for $749 + tax last time I checked, which for a lot of guys the warranty though rarely ever needed is worth the extra $100 (actually $150 when you get tax figured in, but we guys tend to rationalize a lot of things). And fortunate or unfortunate, not sure on the LEFTY side of things as far as trying to sell. I just got $450 out of a '07 38Ultra (almost new) that is completely set-up with a good rest and decent sight. Which will offset my Katera XL purchase, but I'm short a sight on the deal. Places like AT, you may find someone willing to trade a Righty for a Lefty as there are guys I hear at least once every couple weeks that decide they want to switch. Not sure if that is a viable option or not, but it may be an option. Good Luck with it Dave.
