I have not shot the mathews bows, but of all the bows i've ever shot the Bowtech invasion is by far the best so far for me. A couple years ago the hoyt alpha max was the nicest bow i've shot, but the invasion is super fast, I can hold it back for ever, whisper quiet and I shoot better groups than ever so far with it.
I decided to get back to bow hunting after a 20+ year hiatus. Over the last several months I shot the Matthews Heli-m, Monster and Z7 and the Bowtech Invasion and Insanity. On Saturday, I purchased the Invasion. To me both Bowtechs were smoother and quieter to shoot and I would have chosen either over any of the Matthews. I did not find much difference between the Invasion and Insanity, but the Invasion is lighter and more handy and I enjoyed shooting it more. That is my reasoning why. Dan
BowTech Insanity is AWESOME You're absolutely right! You've got to pick them both up and shoot it for yourself. Both BowTech and Mathews make good bows. I shoot them all every year and still have stuck with BowTech for the last 5 years because it feels best to me. I've always had a good experience with the BowTech customer service people but that could be the region too.
Bowtech Invasion hands down. I bought a used Invasion for an amazing price and let me tell you I plan on never replacing it. The bow is literally about as torque free as you can get. I keep hearing about Mathews innovation but between the two Bowtech is far superior. All Mathews did was take the Z7 and basically tweak the cam design a little and lighten the heck out of it to make the Heli-M. To me that bow is too light!!! you need some weight to help you stabilize your shot. Whereas Bowtech made CPX technology to make a bow extremely torque resistant compared to that reflex riser all you Mathews shooters are using. However, I do agree that Bowtech's customer service is in question.
Very true. There are women out there shooting 35-40 lb bows taking various big game animals, so your 60 lb is enough.
