The limb issue has been squared away with the recall. It is all about whether you like it (the General) more than your Tribute or not.

I would.. I could use a new bow that I could keep in the garage and let neighbors shoot anytime they come over and BS with me.

I think it would be a real hoot to see the expression on their face when you here "SNAP".:d

I'm just messin' with the Bowtechies.. meant no harm.

Well I was thinking with that price the limbs are replaced seems to be a heck of a deal?

If the limbs are the new version or have been updated through the recall, no doubt about it. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Thanks for all your comments, With my money situation right now I have to find deals or sales on high price items. After giving it much thought I feel that I believe the General to be one of the sweetest shooting bows ever. Because of the unfortunate limb recall that affected very little of the bows out there I believe the General would be one of the best sellers. Resale value may not be what you would like but honestly, the price people end up selling older model bows is such a drastic price drop it almost doesn't justify purchasing a new one. It doesn't matter what bow it is. I am very happy and a proud new owner of the General and the price was right for the me being a normal consumer. Brand new in the box with the cool white styrofoam protecting it and different draw modules and a cool my 4th camo Bowtech hat! Thanks for all your replies. Now I have to wait to shoot it for a new sight. lol Talk about waiting for christmas.

Congrats on the purchase. I too am looking for an upgrade from my tribute. I love the looks (no one around here has one I can shoot) of the Sentinel but $800 is a lot of cash to drop on a bow. I'm still thinking about doing it but that money could be better spent.

Sorry I didn't get on the thread over here in time, Tribal! Hopefully you saw my response on HNI in time so you'd have some input from several of us Techies. :d

That's an absolutely AWESOME man-cave... I know I've seen a pic or two over the years, but I'd forgot how incredible it was/is... You've got an awesome place there!

Congrats on the steal of deal too!!
