Thanks for the clarification Rob and Greg. I figured that was it, but was a little confused by all those guys "over there" making such a stink. You'd think since they are all closet design/mechanical engineers they would have figured that out on their own.

As those who know me have found I'm not a fanboy of any archery company and what Ultra was say in pretty true in a lot of cases. Greg is right though Hoyt does a good job of keeping honest, and since Bowtech uses ranges of speeds their numbers are accurate.

Other companies, hmmm, not so much.

Oh, and John... your neighbor has a pond in their back yard now.

    I don't think they're supposed to. :D

Frank, good point on the riser design. That's what i keep hearing, and although I felt my 06 Cr334 was too short, I want to give these newer "short" bows a chance.

I understand what you are saying about the ATA feeling longer, the Allegiance is like that for me. But the Guardian, even though it is longer than the Allegiance, feels much shorter. I just can't get comfortable with the Guardian. Maybe I was spoiled by the Commander, my go to bow that just feels/shoots like a dream LOL. I'll definitely give it a look but I am hoping it feels more like a 37" ATA.

Okay.... I love my BowTech's.... but I think that this may be the ugliest BowTech bow since the Gen3. I am not a fan of the look of the bow at all, but I will definetly have to shoot one.

BowTech guys.... PLEASE tell me that this bow doesn't have the InVelvet finish.... it was nice at first on my 82nd Airborne... but after 1-1/2 years my bow has more white than camo... the finish rubs off everywhere that the bow comes into contact with anything.
