Anticipation ads work. Just last night I saw one for something new from Verizon called the Droid. The commercial was very vague but you could tell it was something that was going to compete with the iPhone. Heck, it didn't even say Verizon anywhere in the commercial but there was a web address at the end. It got my curiosity up so I looked it up. The product isn't being released until Nov. sometime.

That's the sole intention of anticipation ads. Heck, I give in to them all the time. I spoke about the Verizon one from last night already.

Another one was for the new Black Jack taco from Taco Bell. I saw the commercial for it last week, the next day I had to give one a try...:D
