Which do you choose without shooting? However, I'm going to shoot these tonight and am very excited. Might pick one up.

Depends what your lookin for out of a bow. They are very different beasts, and can't be compared that easily.

Im not bashing bowtech in anyway, but after the last 3 i've had, I'm not spending my own money on any bow they just released thats new technology, and it really seems like this injection molding carbon is new.

(04 general, bottom limb cracked 4 times before bow was sent to factory and revealed a missing shim, 08 general, axle pulled through top limb tip at full draw, 08 82nd had a cracked limb from factory that was replaced under warranty and immediately sold).

Without shooting I would pick the Carbon Knight due to the price and weight. Its a whole pound lighter and a whole $150 lower than the Experience. Keep us updated on how they are!

I have the Experience and love it. Sometimes extra weight makes for a more quiet and steady bow. If you are just planning on sitting in a treestand with it, will the extra weight even matter?

Didn't make it there yesterday. I like the price of the knight but I like the technology on the experience. I'm going this afternoon to shoot hoyt, bowtech, and elite. Might make a drive this weekend and shoot the Matthews as well.

Based solely on paper specs... carbon knight. Much lighter weight and cheaper for 5 fps? I would take the lighter bow, but I like them light

the carbon knight looks like a sweet bow but i still like the looks carbon element. to me the knight just looks like a lighter, slghtly slower D 350 with a carbon riser nothing too new.

yeah but there are also many upsides to it they justify that price tag.

Awesome, I'm waiting for my shop to get their 60 pounder in. Right now all they have is 70 so I wasn't able to shoot it but I did hold it and check it out. I liked it a lot.

These are two totally different beast. Yes, the Experience is a hunting bow and so is the Knight but, that's where the similarities end. The Experience is a Center Pivot limb bow with the overdrive cam system, flex roller guard and Draw specific cams. The night is a mid priced Carbon fiber hunting rig with a cable slide solid limbs and rotating modules. In my opinion none of the extras are needed to hunt. Yes, the overdrive cam system is one of the most tunable systems on the planet. The center pivot helps in the speed department. The flex guard helps in torque. All this is something most hunters don't even worry about. Broadhead time the bow so that its POI is with field points and hit the woods.

I guess what I am saying is if your looking for a hunting only rig, the night probably has more attributes that would be appreciated and that would matter in a hunting situation than the Experience. The Experience is more likely to be a bow that could be used as both a hunting an 3D rig with many ways to adjust the time of the bow.

The Knight is selling in most shops for $749. The Experience is going for $949. If I were buying just to hunt, I'd buy the Knight. If I wanted a do it all, Experience it would be.

Good luck. I'm going to shoot one Tuesday!

I shot an experience and a knight yesterday and let me tell you being a Mathews guy the experience is an awesome bow. The knight was extremely light even rigged out but felt it torqued somewhat easily. The experience has a nice smooth draw back and is one of the most dead in the hand bows I've shot. I'm no expert by any means as I've only been bow hunting two years but i have shot alot of bows and I would personally go with the experience. Just my two cents.

I shot them but decided I didn't want to give up shooting a single cam yet. I didn't feel strong enough for it (shoulder injury) so I ordered a Mathews creed tactical. I'll work on pulling 60-70 lbs and then I'll make the switch to the draw cycle of a binary cam. To me they are different.
