I think the assassin is a fantastic bang-for-your-buck bow. Bowtech customer service has come a long way as well. Go shoot one!
Love it. Fast, smooth, a great shooter. The rest that comes with the R.A.K. is junk and some folks say it's a little loud without any silencers on it (I'm partially deaf so I can't comment here). Those things are easily fixed. I shoot this bow better than any compound I've owned and that's an honest opinion.
Its a great shooter i have the 2012 Bowtech Assassin and I love it. For the money their is not much else better to be honest. Now when you get into the split limbs and the rollerguards and all that other fun stuff your looking at more money. Its a no frills shooter period. It is accurate and i love shooting this bow but like others have said the RAK stuff on it is junk i have replaced all the stuff on mine.
