I was looking to upgrade my current bow to a newer and faster bow. One bow in particular I have been looking at is the BowTech Assasin. I am wondering how this bow performs in the field and are there many flaws in it. I know every bow is going to have it's pros/cons, but would this be a good buy?
Thank You and God Bless! :D

I have had a Bowtech Pro 38 and Bowtech Destroyer and really like them both a lot. Bowtech all around is GREAT! Just dont listen to Racewayking!

I have shot this bow and I am still torn on what bow I will be buying at the begining of the year. This one is in the top 2. I would replace most of if not all of the accessories as soon as I got it home but, the bow is great. The only negative I have heard anyone say about it was a "bow tech" at a pro shop. He pointed out that it has plastic limb pockets. I asked him if any of his costomers had, had a problem with them and his response was no and mine was what is the problem with them then? He looked puzzled and said well they could crack. Personally that wouldn't effect my discision. Besides, plastic has been used for that piece on many really good bows in the past.

All in all, I don't see that there are many if any cons.
Cons: I really didn't have any complaints about it.

    The pros for me:
    Inexpensive package
    Smooth draw
    Excelent back wall and valley
Super fast 333fps for under $600 is unbelievable
    Ready to shoot
    Light weight
    Short ATA
    Quiet
    low vibration
Accurate: I almost robbin hooded my 3rd shot while testing shooting it.
    looks great

I also shot the PSE Bow Madness XS (same price range with the same or close to the same accessories at the shop I was at)and the Assassin was in my opinion a better feeling bow all around.

INHO it is a great bow and if you really like it, get it.
