Hey guys! when hunting in rain, what do you need to do as far as maintaining your bow? I waxed my string about three days ago, but should you wax it again after a rainy hunt? and is there anything else that needs to be taken care of after poor weather?

I use an air compressor to blow off as much water as I can, then rewax if nessesary.

If you just waxed it you should be good to go.

Use a good wax and wax your string. Don't wax your servings! Just your exposed parts of your string.

too much wax is not a good thing... with the new strings of today rain won't hurt them at all, just dry them off when ya come out of the woods before putting the bow away... I only wax mine twice a year... just before the season, and again after in prep for my spring and summer of practice
