Bow...it takes far more practice to be skilled enough to be sure of a kill with a bow, than with a gun.
I shoot my bow way more often than my guns. A lot more practical for me. Plus this is my first year really getting into archery so I need to build my skills with the bow more so than with my guns. I can step right out my back sliding door onto my porch that's about 12' above the ground(raised ranch house on 2 wooded acres) and put arrows into my block target I have set out at 40 yards away from the deck. Do this about 4-5 days a week. Love shooting my guns but don't do that near as often.
It's not even close, bow. If I don't partake In any pheasant or waterfowl hunting I might shoot a half dozen shots a year.
Bow. I shoot my bow several times a week in the winter and about every day when its warm. I may spend 3 or 4 days shooting rifles all year. I do pattern a lot of shotguns around spring turkey both for myself and for others...
I shoot a gun about 5 times a year. I'll probably start shooting skeet again an will do it once a week or every other week. I shoot my bow a few times a week right now. When it warms up and the days get long, I'll shoot every day. I prefer bow over most all firearms.
I sight my guns in once a year and put them away. LOL The bow I'll shoot often. Lately with health thingys that's been put on hold a bit.
I shoot the bow wayyyy more. Very convienent and it doesnt cost much at all. Not to mention its super fun
