I've only bow hunted for the last 18 years except last year I picked up a gun for the first time in that entire period. I bowhunt all the gun seasons.

Im probably gonna use a gun this year, just because my bow is old and I have more confidence in a gun..

I do, but only because my city has outlawed rifles. I still rifle hunt at the cabin with my kids on the weekends. Interestingly , I have not found the deer to be afraid of blaze orange.

I bust out the .270 WSM for the opening weekend here in MN. Usually just to fill up the freezer, and since i'm the only one in the family hunting group that bowhunts, I get to spend the weekend with the guys. A lot of pressure around where i'm at so I'll maybe sit with my bow once or twice but, i usually just wait for rifle to be over before i pick up the archery tackle again.
