My next press (possibly this winter) will be an EZ Press (Last Chance Archery). It presses all current bows (even the destroyer with the pillow blocks) quickly, and it's an inline press.

I like the Sure-Loc X-Press as well (saw it first hand in use at Rob/PA's house), I just like the quicker setup (and lower price) of the EZ press.

The pillow blocks that the axle passes through on the outside face of the limb:

I've tried (and owned) the homemade presses, but I never quite felt like they put pressure where they should be (on the tip of the limbs). A lot can be ruined and/or damaged on your bow without any visible evidence if you improperly press your bow. The prices are a bit steep, but imho, it's money well spent to do it right.

I have an EZ Press and it's nothing short of fantastic. I also have many many hours of time using the X-Press from Sure Loc and it's a great press too. If I had to pick between the two I'd get the EZ Press.

The press you showed I'd be VERY cautious of. Typically when you speak with a bow manufacturer, they will recommend that the pivot point of any press you use be as close as possible to the limb pocket. This allows the flex and force of being pressed to be spread among the entire limb. The press if your video moves this pivot point VERY close to the axle. Most bow manufacturers will likely advise against using a press of this sort, as it very possibly could lead to premature limb failure.

Also, I know from speaking with the guys out at BowTech that the X Press and the EZ Press are the two they recommend for use on the Destroyer.

After doing some research I have read some bad reviews of the x-press when using the bow I currently have (Mathews M7, dual cam past parallel).
The ez press has good reviews and the only problem is how tight the fingers are to the cam making it hard to work around those. "Takes some getting use to."

    A letter from Mathews -

I did some more checking into approved presses for Mathews bows. As it turns out, we do not officially “Approve” bow presses for use. Presses such as the X-Press or EZ-Press will work great. The newer Apple Edge press will also work without any problems. The Nite Hawk press will work, but If you frequently press the bow a different style might be considered. I hope this helps you a bit.

The Apple edge is what they had at my local bow shop that went out of business. I didnt know it was that cheap.
