I've always had to go to my pro shop 60 miles away for minor repairs or adjustments that require a press. What can you experienced bowhunters tell me about the Bowmaster Bow Press. I have an Alphamax 35 and understand I would need the accessory for split limbs, but will it harm the bow? Is it safe to use? I'm curious as to what experience any of you have had with the Bowmaster.

I use one, I have no complaints about it. I have a solid limb bow, but I've heard the split limb adapter works even better than the standard method.

Is that the little pocket size deal with the cables for like 40 bucks?

Yep, it was my only bow press for quite a long time. They work great and I continue to carry one in the truck on all hunting trips.

Ditto. Its still the only one I use. As little as I need a press it fits my needs great.

Huh, might just have to look into it further. Never gave it much thought.

I like the idea of having a mobile bow press in the truck. Could be very handy.

Yep that's the one. I've read good things about them, and I appreciate your comments. Nothin' like getting feedback from actual users.
