If anyone is interested, the Bowhunting Super Show is going on March 21-23 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. I went to it last year when it was up near Cleveland and they had a pretty good show. Not a ton of displays then but the family and I had a good time. This year they apparently have quite a few more celebrities lined up including Lee & Tiffany, Andy Ross, Chuck Adams, Fred & Michele Eichler and Gene Wensel to name a few.

Also this year they are having a pop-up 3D course. There are all kinds of bow manufacturers that will be there to let you shoot their equipment including Mathews, Elite, Obsession and several more. That was the one thing I enjoyed last year was being able to try out different brands of bows and this year they have many more that will be represented.

Oh and the giant double droptine buck that Mark Owen shot this year in Ohio will also be on display.

Isn't this the same show that goes on next to the beef expo every year? Or am I thinking of something different?

Not sure about that. Last year was the first year for the show and it was up in Cleveland then. This year they moved it over to Columbus and it's the weekend following the Deer & Turkey Expo. Perhaps that's the show you were thinking of?

I do know DLC Covert is expected to be there this year.....gutone4me in the flesh!

I agree the D&TE in Michigan is good and a lot look forward to it. I'm more of the archery/bowhunting type and this show seems to fit that bill pretty good. Excellent if you want to shoot a bunch of different manufacturer's bows since they have so many vendors lined up for it this year.

For me last year, which was the first year for this show, it was well worth the drive from where I live in Michigan. It wasn't as huge as some of the shows then probably because the word hadn't gotten out yet on if it was going to be worth it for vendors. I was in the market for a new bow at the time and they had several there that I had hoped to shoot. This year it appears they have quite a bit more bow vendors and with all the extra stuff with the personalities that are going to be there and the amount of space they have lined up I cannot help but think this is THE show for me this year to be at.
