First off, you better get some small game broadheads or else you might as well say goodbye to every other arrow you shoot at them. Field points and other broadheads are pretty good at skimming off the ground and keeping on flying. I use a knock-off of the Zwickey Judo Points. The little spring arms work pretty well at keeping the arrow from passing all the way through the rodents and they keep them from glancing off the ground. I'm not saying these are needed, but it's just what I use and they work rather well. Also you would be supprised how quick the little guys are. They can dodge an arrow with ease. Kinda like deer, it's better to catch them off guard. I'd take rabbit meat over squirrel meat any day, but still squirrel is pretty good. I'm not fancy about cooking them. I just roll them in flour and fry them. (pretty good with mashed potatoes and gravy  )
