I was surfing through some hunting websites, Facebook pages, etc. and found this. Link will tell the story. Also, gives other countries that one can look at. Overall, we are very lucky here in the USA. http://www.europeanbowhunting.org/index.php/united-kingdom
Yep but no bowfishing, illegal in the UK, due to the economic impact in Europe- $7 billion a year. sota, you should try carp fishing. My biggest carp is 25 lb., small buffalo is 26-9.
I grew up on the Mississippi, I caught thousands of carp as a kid, then I grew up and learned to catch game fish.
Game fish? How big? Carp fishing is growing. I'll research it but I recall there are some states that have protections for carp, recognizing the additional income from fishing licenses and tackle sales. I don't need a $50k boat that drinks gallons of gas. I can fish with just about anything that comes off the shelves at the big box store or discount store. I look at the price of artificial baits and think how much I save by carp fishing. BTW, sold my bass boat about 20 years ago. Too many people on the water for my comfort. http://www.njskylands.com/odfishcarp
