Have been clean shaven for about 6 years now for deer season(s). I can feel the kisser button better that way IMO. Plus, I am the only one at gun deer camp who not only shaves, but showers for the week....seriously. For some reason I am the only hunter in the group who bags a deer every year. Coincidence......I don't think so!!!

Seriously though, I am in the same "boat" as Siman. Job description states no facial hair as I am in a health care occupation.

After watching Whisker Wars this year I might have to reconsider my career.

Started as just a November thing...
Then it was Oct until a buck was killed...
    Then a Bowseason thing...
Now it starts in late August and goes until Spring...

I sport the stubble b/c not only is my beard red when I grow it out, but I can't stand the itchy phase. Probably start letting it get longer in a couple weeks so I can bring back my mustache Rodney for November. For now, once a week trim is good enough.

Mustache gets shaved daily..still look like I'm going through puberty. Neck chin and cheeks don't grow thick enough for anything

I'm with fritz....pretty much the same schedule I've had for years.....but last year I dint shave it off until may. Then it was right back in august.....it sure cuts down on shaving time! But I haven't been totally clean shaven since high school....I hate that look.

I usaully have a goat or handle bar but we are doing a beard for a buck this year so not supposed to shave until we have a buck down. I've cheated and trimmed a couple times though since season hasn't officially started. Im ugly without facial hair so with is even worse lol. My lady friends don't appreciate me not shaved and thats understandable cause I tell them the same thing. heheh

My Stache has been around for years and it is not going anywhere. Besides my wife won't let me shave it off.

You know that Mr. Dale will be making his presence again this season. Just haven't decided when yet.

Started mine last week. Will not shave it off until I have either shot a deer, winter is over, or I can't take the wife's snide comments about it anymore.

Opening day I start mine for camo reasons. This way I don't have to put on that nasty facial paint and take it off daily.

I shaved everything off last night. Was bored with it. Harvest and the dusty conditions makes it miserable. Wife likes me clean shaven which I am usually not. Thought I would make her day. It did !! :tu:

Unlike a lot of you guys from what I am reading here... I have no problem growing a beard or stache. Just wish the beard wasn't so gray/grizzly looking. Making me look old !! Oh wait... I am

The wife says I look younger and handsome. Now I've looked at myself in the mirror with and without. I think she is fibbing to out right lieing on the handsome part. :busted: I just see too many rough miles, weathered and should be traded off for a newer model !!!

We now have to wear beard nets at the milk plant while unloading milk If we have facial hair so that's put a damper on my beard I usually grow come Fall. Sucks!!!!
