Hello my name is Nick, I'm 19 and I would consider myself a Bowhunting Junkie. Love to go out and hunt! My only issue is ive seen some deer on my trail cams but rarely when i go out. I probably see a deer 20% of the time when i go out on stand. I hunt both mornings and evening but was wondering if you believe my stand placement is hindering my sightings. I am very conscious of my scent but maybe I'm still doing something wrong. Any ideas. I could also upload a link to the land i hunt if anyone would have tips that's be greatly appreciated. Bowhunt or Die.
Are you hunting the same time as you photos show you deer movement? if there all night photos then you'll probably want to move to another location for now. How consistent are the deer visiting this location? You may count the days between each pic and try to determine if there is a pattern. Also, you need to figure out which direction the deer are coming from and determine if the wind is blowing in that direction. If so you'll want to set up where your scent isn't blowing up the trail. I hope some of this is helpful. Good luck!

This is my attempt at a topo map... Let me know if it works. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Spice...6&hnear=Spicer,+Kandiyohi,+Minnesota&t=h&z=16
This is my attempt at a topo map... Let me know if it works. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Spice...6&hnear=Spicer,+Kandiyohi,+Minnesota&t=h&z=16 I have to land around the small lake and the larger one on the bottow. It goes all the way to highway 71 on the right.
