Has anyone done this? Anyone of our southern members do this on the regular? Looks like fun and different from all the normal critters that are hunted. I love gator meat especially tail meat. Im thinking about it seriously. Seems like it would be a rush to arrow a 4,5,6 hundred pound gator.
I remember there was some hunting show video of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert doing a gator archery hunt. Looked pretty fun. I'd link to it but I can't find it; only references to it, or some clips from anti-hunting sites trying to get one/both of them canceled because of their 'cruelty' and I am not going to even give them a click.
that dude straight up disappeared. His profile isn't even searchable anymore. I remember going back through his last few posts; nothing out of the ordinary. Then, POOF
You should head to Florida, not sure on regulations or permits. When I was fishing lake okeechobee , there were gators all over the damn place.
Definitely seen a few the last time I was in Florida. Hunting them isn’t cheap from what I was told but what is anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There are a few members that just up and disappeared. Chago was another one. Shot a couple Booners back to back years, then boom gone. I had a old neighbor that did a gator hunt. For the life of me I can't remember were he went on his trip. He even gave me some meat and I got to see the mount. If I remember it was alot like bow fishing. They used buoy on a string, that was attached to arrow. You shot gator and and followed the buoy until it was done. I was up to the Great American outdoor show last weekend and they had a outfitters there selling hunts for gator, but I didn't check into it. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Hopefully never, he should stay there and denounce his citizenship then turn in his U.S. passport and I.D.'s. Rode the Trump train financially, voted Biden and then left the country to avoid ramifications. Class act
Guys I moved to Florida this year. I have applied for tags. If I draw I will keep you posted on how it goes. Will be doing it my self in public land.
